The WRINKLE-FACED BAT made the Number Two on our lists of must-see CREEPIEST ANIMAL IN THE WORLD.
When we say 'CREEPIEST', it does not mean they are wild but we meant they look scary. The wrinkle-FACED bat does not harm. They are found in various countries in and around Central America.

TRUE FACTS ABOUT THE WRINKLE-FACED BAT
- They are tail-less.
- They are of medium-sized .
- They have a pelage of a drab brown to yellowish-brown.
- They weigh around 17g.
- They have hairless face which is covered by convoluted outgrowth of skin, which makes their face looks wrinkled and scary.
- They have storage pouches in their mouths to allow them to store fruits.
- They have a skull which is extremely short and wide and which is thought to allow it to produce bite forces up to 20% higher than any other bats of a similar size.
- Wrinkle-faced bats are entirely FRUGIVORUS I.e they feed mainly in fruits.
