"#001 MUST-SEE CREEPIEST ANIMAL IN THE WORLD" - True Facts about the Creature

The BLOBFISH (Psychrolutes Marcidus) is a deep sea fish which belongs to the family 'Psychrolutidae'.

They are specifically found in Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand.

We have compiled the true facts you need to know about the one-time named 'Mascot for the Ugly Animal Preservation Society'.

TRUE FACTS ABOUT THE BLOBFISH

  • BLOBFISH are known to feed on crabs, mollusks and see pens.
  • A blobfish weighs around Twenty (20)
  • They do not have a full skeleton. They only have a backbone and they also do not have real muscles, just jellies.
  • The blobfish lives in the deepest cold water about 4,000ft below the sea level.
  • Their lifespan and repreoduction are unknown to scientist because no human has been able to view them alive in their habitat; humans can not survive their harsh condition habitat, not even for the short moment it takes to view this creature.
  • They are proven scientifically inedible because the BLOBFISH can no handle the changes in pressure, and for this reason, they instantly changes shape and dies the moment they are taken from their habitat and so leaving it inedible to humans.
  • BLOBFISH are shorter than 30cm and are pink in colour.
  • Their female lays egg to the sea floor.
  • A BLOBFISH does not look like a blob in their natural habitat.
  • They live under immense pressure from 60 to 120 times greater than the pressure at sea level; under this type of pressure, the BLOBFISH actually resemble a normal looking fish but they changes in shape if taken from their habitat.
  • BLOBFISH are mainly of tissues; they have no gas bladder, instead they rather have a density that is slightly less than water which allows them to float in place without having to waste energy on swimming.
  • They have no predator in its habitat but humans had been their threat.
  • The BLOBFISH was voted the world's ugliest animal in 2013. It beat out several other animals including the naked mole rat,  the axolotl, the purple frog and the proboscis monkey.

NOTE: WE HAVE GOT REPORTS FROM PEOPLE LOOKING OUT FOR AQUARIUMS WHICH HAS BLOBFISH, WE ARE SORRY TO TELL YOU THAT YOU CANNOT FIND ANY BECAUSE NO HUMAN CAN KEEP A 'LIFE' BLOBFISH AS A PET. WHY? A BLOBFISH CANNOT SURVIVE ANYWHERE ELSE EXCEPT IN ITS HABITAT. NOT EVEN AT THE SEA SURFACE!
